Gazprom says may boost dividends from 2020

MOSCOW, Aug 31 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom may raise dividends from 2020 after the main investment cycle is over, Alexander Ivannikov, director of the financial department, said on Friday.

“The investment cycle is finishing in 2019… Higher dividends will likely be paid after the main investment cycle is over, starting from 2020… they will be paid in 2021 correspondingly,” he said.

The company is to launch three strategically important investment projects -- the Sila Sibiri (Power of Siberia), Nord Stream-2 and TurkStream natural gas pipelines until 2020.
